Meet your CarCupid, Michael Jacobs

Hi, my name is Michael Jacobs. I grew up on a farm in the small farming community of Douglas (it exists, I promise) in the Northern Cape. I have worked as a farmer for the past twelve years (if you don’t count the teenage years driving tractors and harvesters for my
dad – the original farmer) in various ways on my own and other farms.

After marrying ‘n “stadsjapie” I started considering a career change and made the move to the big city. I have been passionate about cars for as long as I can remember. As I grew up and my interest developed, I started reading and researching more and more and as fate would have it, the facts and statistics I bored my friends with at braais, came in handy when they wanted to buy a car and so Car Cupid was born.

Some people have fantasy football or super rugby leagues, I have fantasy car purchases. I am no car salesman, but I am a man that loves cars and can make finding the right car for your budget and needs that much easier.
